Rose_small In episode #13, we talk to Patrice Dickey, creator of "Get the Life You Love" for Emory University's Center for Lifelong Learning.  Her greatest joy is helping people bust out of stale mind-frames, put a name on their game, and step into their power.  As a speaker, coach, longtime sales trainer and consultant, she shows right-handed creative entrepreneurs how to "Convert Their Chaos to Cash". As we talked, Patrice gave us some great ideas for harnessing energy, and the importance of learning to transfer that into something--a product or idea--that will benefit our business and help our prospective clients.  She includes meditation, projection, and even a little delegation as tools that can benefit our pursuit for a joy-filled business.

Guiding Principle #3: Minding the 4 C's

As the author of, Joyful Business Guide system, I have outlined 17 Guiding Principles of a Joyful  Jbgtotal Business.  These are guidelines, reminders, and validations for creating a success business based on using your joy energy. Why?  Because the world needs a new modern business model - the old one is broken! Use joy as a guide for what you create, for what you give, and for what you receive - being intentional about it all.

Each week I would like to share one of the Guiding Principles.  I would love to hear your thoughts, comments and own personal experience of each principle.

Guiding Principe #3:

Minding the 4 C's for a Success Business:

Clarity, Creativity, Confidence and Connection

"When you manage your energy an dcultivate joy you will tap into more:

Clarity - In your vision, actions and your gifts and capabilities;

Creativity - You are always creating in your life and business. Creating new relationships, ideas, solutions, partnerships and products.

Confidence - In your own talents and capacities and your ability to truly serve others in your own unique way. you know your particular way of showing up in this world is needed.

Connection - As you manage your energy and tap into joy you are more likely to feel inspired to connect with others (that is a very good thiing when you want more clients!). You are also more open to connecting with your own inner wisdom and that of the universe around you."

What's all the fuss about?

I know many of you are also fans of Alexandria Brown, also known as the Ezine Queen/multi-Ali_03 millionairess, internet goddess. You may have heard her teleseminar the other night with David Neagle.

I'm a big fan of David Neagle's as well, although a new one.  Well, the two of them together talked about the real story about their journey to making their millions.

Up until now, Ali has always shared her marketing and internet wisdom along with encouraging words but not so much behind the scenes of her spiritual side.  This week she talked about connecting to source and how developing her "knowing" about her purpose helps her take the next step even when she doesn't see the bridge off the ledge, she just knows it will be there when she steps.

It was a very powerful call.  I even cried. Yes, I cried over hearing an internet marketing millionairess' story!  What happened?  She spoke from her heart about her "big why"...actually she was on the verge of tears so she didn't speak very much at that point...she didn't have to.  She was talking about her huge house she just bought - her dream castle in LA by the ocean. I thought that's nice - I want a dream house by the ocean too. But then, At one point she talked about ....I don't even remember the exact words...but she talked about the amazement of being able to buy this house on her own. She was talking about freedom, success, independence, big dreams coming true and having huge gratitude.  She had me at "freedom" :)  It resonated so strongly that I felt myself just weep out loud. (good thing we were muted!)  I heard from several of you that you felt the same impact.

I know that when we are touched by someone that it is because it lives in us.  Our relationships are mirrors for our own values.  I wanted to honor those values. I want to pull them out and claim them!  Underneath building our businesses, learning new things, making money and making meaning these core values live strongly.   I know that if you are reading this then those values or ones very similiar must live in you....freedom, success, independence, big dreams being a reality, huge gratitude.

When you think about your business - how do those words show up?  What do they look like for you?  Where would you like them to show up bigger?

Laura

PS:  I am joining David Neagle in July in Las Vegas for an intensive week long workshop called "Experience the Reality of Your Success". I've talked to many people who have had huge business shifts as a result of their work with David and those values we just talked about....really coming true!  If you think you might want to join me, check out the details at:  David Nealge.com   If you decide to join us - drop me a line so we can meet up!

Guiding Principle #2: It's All About Energy

As the author of, Joyful Business Guide system, I have outlined 17 Guiding Principles of a Joyful  Business. Binder_and_playbook_2  These are guidelines, reminders, and validations for creating a success business based on using your joy energy. Guiding Principe #2:It's All About Energy

"Your ability to cultivate joy, show up each day and work on your business and life takes energy. How you pay attention to, manage and nurture your physical, emotional, mental and spiritual energies shape your capacities and your experiences. So it is up to you to pay attention and take responsibility for your energies. "

I often say that as a business owner, your #1 most precious resource is NOT money, it's not even time, your #1 most precious resource is your energy.  Without it nothing will happen! Today just start noticing your four energies: physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.  Which one needs feeding?  When one needs nurturing?

Guiding Principle #7: It's All Good

As the author of, Joyful Business Guide system, I have outlined 17 Guiding Principles of a Joyful  Business.  These are guidelines, reminders, and validations for creating a success business based on using your joy energy. Why?  Because the world needs a new modern business model - the old one is broken! Guiding Principe #7:  It's All Good

"Let's face it - you probably aren't always going to be in a joyful disposition. You can, however, be an observer and a learner. You can be sad, angry, frustrated or depressed and still find the good in those places (eventually) and be present to whatever is happening. With practice, you will start choosing to shift to a more life-giving joy perspective on life. You have the tools to do this."

A client the other day shared that she had received an email from a reader of her newsletter. The reader abruptly shared in her email that she didn't get what my client does. My client was upset and was trying hard not to take it personally.  I reminded her that she was, in fact, going through a major transition in her business and that she was working on her own clarity.  Actually she had set an intention to be clear by a certain date. So that dear reader was just reflecting back my client's own uncertainty and reinforcing that she in fact was right to be spending this time to get clearer about her business vision.

Everything you attract in your life and business is a mirror of your own thoughts and beliefs.  Just take a look!  With that perspective you tend to get a sense of humor and curiousity and yes then it is all good.
